This Citizens’ Scenario, as released to the press, and can be downloaded via www.whichwaynigeria.ng/, is said to be the clearest picture yet of the ways in which Nigeria’s future may unfold when it reaches 100 years of independence in 2060. The Citizens’ Scenarios created four possible and concretised scenarios for Nigeria in 2060: Blood Land, Land of Lost Hope, Land of Hustle, and Green Land. The four scenarios serve as a blueprint for concerned Nigerians to join the conversation and work towards a better future.

The first series of the National Dialogue will be moderated by the Co-Initiator, Professor Chukwumerije Okereke. Speakers include Professor Bell Ihua, Executive Director, Africa Polling Institute (API); Professor Afam Icha-Ituma, Vice Chancellor, Coal City University, Enugu; Dr Natalie Beinisch, CO-Founder/ Executive Director, Africa Circular Innovation Partnership (CEIP); and Mr Patrick Okigbo, Founding Partner, Nextier, to provide interventions based on the different thematic areas revealed by the Citizens’ Scenarios.

The speakers, in their interventions, will paint a picture of where things are now, how things may develop in each of the four scenarios and the key events, triggers, policies that are likely to influence the development along any of the four scenarios presented in the report.

The following professionals and thought leaders from three frontline political parties will be joining to provide their reactions to the presentation by sector experts:  Mr Felix Morka, Founder and Executive Director of the Social and Economic Rights Action Centre (SERAC) and National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Mr. Osita Chidoka, former Minister of Aviation and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain; and Mr Valentine Ozigbo, Former Gubernatorial aspirant for Anambra State and now Labor Party (LP) Chieftain.

Which Way Nigeria is inviting intending participants to join the conversation. The event is scheduled to hold virtually on January 26, 2023 by 3:00PM. They can register here http://bit.ly/3Xu66tx to attend.
