The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday, April 3, 2020 confirmed six new cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Osun State, increasing Nigeria’s confirmed cases to 190.
NCDC through its verified Twitter account on Friday said that out of the 190 cases in the country, 20 had been discharged with two deaths recorded.
It said that currently Lagos has 98 cases; Abuja – 38; Osun – 20; Oyo – eight; Akwa Ibom – five; Ogun, Edo and Kaduna four cases each; Bauchi – three; Enugu and Ekiti – two cases each, while Rivers and Benue has one case each.
Data from the Africa Centre for Disease Control (AfricaCDC) shows that there are 7,028 COVID-19 cases, 284 deaths, and 561 recoveries in Africa.
