Environment Minister, Svenja Schulze, said: “Climate protection companies show that sustainable business and economic success belong together. Their best practices motivate other companies to join the pioneer initiative. We need more committed people to reach our climate protection goals. Therefore, my request: Apply as a climate protection company!”

And that increases competitiveness. Companies therefore have an interest in being a pioneer in climate protection. Be part of it and show with which innovative ideas your company promotes the energy transition and climate protection.”
The lighthouse character of the initiative is confirmed by DIHK President, Dr. Ing. Eric Schweitzer, who said: “The climate protection companies are an example of the opportunities in the green economy and how diverse entrepreneurial commitment can be for more climate protection.”

We work out success stories and recipes, are policy partners and present our members in public formats. In addition, the companies benefit from the mutual exchange of successful energy efficiency and CO 2 savings projects. Our common goal is to grow to 50 climate protection companies throughout Germany by the end of 2020.”
