Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Legrande Properties Development Company Limited, Deacon Babajide Durojaiye, has been recognised as one of Nigeria’s 100 Most Distinguished Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).
An Award of Excellence to that effect was presented to him by EOM Business Network at a ceremony in Lagos on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. EOM hosts a programme on Business and Economy on Silverbird TV.
Executive Producer/Director, EOM Business Network, Elkanah Mowarin, said on what informed the award: “In spite of the numerous challenges experienced by the Nigerian economy in recent years, some companies have weathered the storm and are doing quite well.
“Legrande is a classic example of one of such companies and posted phenomenal success results, and positively impacted families by creating employment opportunities and excelling in corporate social responsibility (CRS), as well as providing housing for the needy. These, among others, informed his nomination as one of the most distinguished CEOs in the country.”
Durojaiye disclosed that his firm has in the past developed and delivered numerous estates and the current initiative is the Alexandra Courts Coastal City in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
Tagged “the New Lagos”, it is a 5,000-unit estate being developed by Legrande Properties Development Company Limited in collaboration with the Lagos State Government and the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) under a PPP arrangement.
