Radio Report: Lagos re-launches ‘one-house-one-tree campaign’

The Lagos State Government has re-launched its “one-house-one-tree campaign” in line with its agenda to mitigate impacts of climate change, improve the aesthetics of the physical environment and enhance the health and well-being of Lagosians.

Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, who announced this at the celebration of the state’s annual Tree Planting Day, urged residents to support the current campaign to aggressively green the state by planting and nurturing at least one tree.Correspondent, Innocent Onoh, reports that the theme of this year’s tree planting campaign is “Clean and Green is our perfect dream”.
