The meeting was organised by the National Ozone Office, Federal Ministry of Environment, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in assisting relevant stakeholders in the complete migration and phase-out of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) to more ozone and climate friendly substances in the refrigerant and air-conditioning and foam sector.
Stakeholders came together from these sectors to review and identify best approach to achieving the phase-out plan of harmful HCFCs in line with the Montreal Protocol. The meeting was held in Lagos.
