At a side-event organised by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) at the recently held COP26 in Glasgow, Dr. Godwin Ojo, Executive Director, Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth Nigeria (ERA/FoEN), says that rich nations are not committed to fulfill climate finance pledges.
According to him, pledges made by rich countries since 2009 in Copenhagen have not been fulfilled. The projections, he adds, are that the funds will be provided from 2023.
