The founder of the NGO, Dr Kehinde Kadiri, who made the disclosure in an interview on Monday, October 23, 2023, in Ilorin, Kwara State, said that TGAI is delighted to announce the “resounding success” of the NGO’s 21st water project in Gaa Oloni, Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara.

She said that the NGO got an exclusive sponsorship from a UK-based online pharmacy store to assist the community to solve its water problem.

She further said that TGAI was born out of a passion for telling the stories of people at the grassroots through compelling photography.

Kadiri said that the NGO, which was founded in 2017, is committed to achieving five Sustainable Development Goals, namely: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Wellbeing, Quality Education and Clean Water and Sanitation.

“In our quest to improve health and wellbeing, we have organised malaria seminars, drug abuse campaigns and provided medical assistance to the elderly.

“Our commitment to Quality Education has seen us offer scholarships and donate school materials to indigent students as well as provide digital training to secondary school students,” Kadiri said.

She further said that TGAI had its projects spread across the five states of Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Kwara and Lagos.

She thanked those who had made contributions to the NGO in the past.

Kadiri appealed to well-meaning Nigerians and multinationals to make donations to TGAI in order to bring more succour to the needing populace in the country.

In a separate interview, the Mogaji of Gaa Oloni, Okanlawon Adebayo, expressed delight over the water project, saying that the NGO had given them life, considering that “water is life”.

“We have always fetched water from the stream, but we can now fetch water very close to us rather than travelling miles to do so.

“We want to sincerely thank TGAI for the borehole and pray that God will continue to bless the group.

“We thought it was a joke or a project that won’t see the light of the day,” Mogaji said.
